Years ago Mike and I planning out our future and expanding our family were fortunate to meet Bart Darwin to build our first home in Timberwind. Over an acre and half lot, isolated master suite, formal dining room, the whole deal and everything we needed/wanted. As our family grew up and grew out, we reassessed our needs for the future. We came across Spencer Lakes and fell in love with the location and accessibility to the neighborhood. As we realized Bart Darwin Builders was part of the group of builders, our decision for change was an easy one. Once again we found ourselves sitting at a conference room table across from Bart and his team talking about what our future holds and where we wanted to go from there. Mike and I selected the Laurel house plan and expanded the design with our ideas. We selected the lot, again met with Bart and his sales team and the beginning of a new home became fruition. We wanted to convert a screened in porch to an "all season" experience, we wanted to design another master suite, upgrade here and there. As we initiated the design and plans and started the building process, Mike and I visited the site daily, sometimes twice. We coordinated flooring, tiles, light fixtures, brick, shingles, paint, the plethora of building a new home all with the guidance, knowledge and experience from Bart's interior design partner, craftsmen and sales team. Without their expertise and insight we're sure we would not have the home of our dreams. Hands down, Bart Darwin Builders took our vision of a house and turned it into our HOME!
